1. What we collect

Account: your name, email and a hashed password (we never store your plain password).
Chats: if you are logged in, your chat history is saved so you can open it on other devices.
What you send to AI: your messages, and photos, PDFs or files you attach.
Password reset: if you use Forgot password, we send a one-time reset link to your email through Resend, our email provider.
Technical: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and basic request information used for abuse protection.

2. How we use it

We use your data only to run NEXORA: to log you in, answer your questions, sync your chats and protect the service from misuse. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

3. Third parties

Google Gemini: your messages and attached files are sent to Google's AI service to create answers. Web search answers may use Google Search. Google's own terms and privacy policy apply to that processing.
Resend: sends password reset emails (only your email address and the reset link).
Cloudflare: hosts the website and stores account and chat data.

4. On your device

Your recent chat list may also be kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data removes it.

5. Cookies

We use one essential cookie (nx_s) to keep you logged in for up to 30 days. It is HttpOnly and not used for tracking.

6. How long we keep data

Account and chat data stay until you delete your chats or ask us to delete your account. Sessions expire after 30 days.

7. Your choices

You can delete chats from the Recent list, log out at any time, and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing us.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2-SHA256 and a random salt, and sessions use secure cookies. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and do not share sensitive secrets in chats.

9. Children

NEXORA is meant for users aged 13 and above. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or teacher's guidance.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
